Specifications

Controls and Operation

Main controls located on handle. Safety handle must be engaged to start mower.

Handle Controls: Safety handle (must be held), Start/Stop button, Height adjustment lever, Battery charge indicators.

Operation: Insert safety key. Hold safety handle against handlebar. Press and hold start button—blade will engage. Release safety handle or start button to stop blade. Always walk behind mower; do not pull backward while blade is engaged. Adjust height with lever (all wheels adjust simultaneously). Monitor battery indicators; recharge when one bar remains.

Cutting Modes

3-in-1 system: Mulching, Bagging, Side-Discharge.

  1. Mulching: Install mulching plug in rear discharge opening. Cuts clippings finely and returns them to lawn as fertilizer.
  2. Bagging: Attach grass bag to rear hooks. Collects clippings for disposal.
  3. Side-Discharge: Attach side-discharge chute. Ejects clippings to the side (right).

Tip: For best mulching, mow when grass is dry and cut no more than 1/3 of grass height at a time.

Battery Care & Charging

Use only DeWalt 20V MAX lithium-ion batteries and charger.

  1. Charging: Insert battery into charger; plug into 120V outlet. LED indicates charging (red) and full (green).
  2. Storage: Store batteries at room temperature. For long storage (>30 days), store at 50% charge.
  3. Run Time: Varies with grass thickness and height. For longer run time, mow frequently and keep blade sharp.
  4. Battery Indicators: Press button on battery to check charge level (4 LEDs = full).

WARNING! Do not expose batteries to fire or water. Use only DeWalt charger. Do not disassemble batteries.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. After each use: Clean underside of deck with brush or hose (ensure mower is OFF and batteries removed).
  2. Blade sharpening: Check blade monthly. Sharpen or replace if dull or damaged (use blade removal tool).
  3. Wheel lubrication: Apply light oil to wheel axles if wheels become stiff.
  4. Inspect fasteners: Periodically check handle and deck bolts for tightness.

CAUTION! Always remove safety key and batteries before performing any maintenance. Wear gloves when handling blade.

Storage Guidelines

Proper storage extends mower life.

Tip: Apply a thin coat of automotive wax to steel deck to prevent corrosion.

Safety Information

Read all instructions before use. Keep bystanders and pets away.

DANGER! Blade can cause severe injury. Always ensure mower is completely off and batteries removed before any inspection or maintenance.
