Assembly Instructions

First-Time Setup

  1. Charge Batteries: Use DeWalt charger to fully charge batteries before first use.
  2. Adjust Cutting Height: Set lever to desired height (recommend 3" for first mow).
  3. Select Discharge Mode: Install bag for collection, mulch plug for mulching, or leave chute open for side discharge.
  4. Insert Safety Key: Insert key into slot near handle.

  5. To stop, release the Start button and safety lever.
  6. Empty bag frequently when indicator shows full.
  7. For slopes: Mow across slope, not up and down, if possible.

Tip: Mow when grass is dry for best results. Avoid mowing in wet conditions.

Maintenance & Care

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. After Each Use: Clean underside of deck (with mower off and batteries removed).
  2. Blade Care: Periodically inspect blade for damage or dullness. Sharpen or replace as needed.
  3. Wheel Check: Ensure wheels move freely and axles are secure.
  4. Battery Contacts: Keep clean and dry.
  5. General Inspection: Check for loose bolts, cracks, or wear before each use.
