Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assembly requires basic tools (included).

  1. Attach Lower Handle: Secure to deck using provided bolts and wrench.
  2. Attach Upper Handle: Connect to lower handle; secure knobs.
  3. Install Grass Bag: Hook bag onto rear deck brackets.
  4. Insert Mulching Plug (if mulching): Place into rear discharge opening.

First-Time Operation

Operation: Safety bail must be held against handle to run. Release to stop blade instantly. Self-propulsion lever controls forward speed (variable). Height lever adjusts all four wheels simultaneously.

Battery: Fuel gauge shows charge level (LED indicators). Insert/remove by pressing release buttons. Charger: Plug into standard 120V outlet; LED indicates charging (red) and complete (green).

Cutting & Discharge Options

Configure for Mulching, Bagging, or Side Discharge.

  1. Mulching: Install mulching plug. Cuts clippings finely and returns them to lawn.
  2. Bagging: Attach grass bag. Collects clippings for disposal.
  3. Side Discharge: Install side discharge chute. Ejects clippings to the side.

Tip: For best mulching, mow when grass is dry and don't cut more than 1/3 of blade height at once. Empty bag frequently to maintain airflow.

Battery & Charging

  2. Runtime: Varies with grass condition, height, and density. Two 10.0Ah batteries provide up to 60 minutes.

  4. Temperature: Charge between 40°F and 105°F. Do not charge frozen batteries.

Safety Features

Safety Key: Prevents accidental start-up. Remove when not in use. Safety Bail: Blade stops within 3 seconds of release. Blade Brake Clutch: Stops blade while keeping wheels engaged (if applicable).

Maintenance & Storage
